The largest incentivized testnet to support data availability sampling has concluded. 📢 After three months of friendly competition, the Blockspace Race has come to a close. Throughout the testnet, many community members contributed to improving the overall experience for all participants 🤝 We greatly appreciate all the work done by the Celestia community that helped make the Blockspace Race a success. During the testnet, many changes and improvements were made along the way. A few highlights: 🗞 Over 800 sovereign rollups deployed on the testnet. 🪐 QGB deployed and activated by the validator set. 🍴 A new hard fork mechanism implemented. That’s the bulk of it.
